”Time for Taiwan — My Beautiful Island”
To those taiwanese who know nothing about Taiwan: Stop nagging at me that Taiwan is such a boring country: Here’s no remarkable architecture, no Tokyo tower, no Statue of Liberty, no blah blah blah…. to signify Taiwan.
You guys just wanna get essence of something IN ONE MINUTE, instead of spending time understanding or experiencing them. You think everything is like ordering food in McDonald: once you oder, you get it. I went to the NY cuz I saw the Statue of Liberty, I went Australia cuz I saw Sydney Opera House.
I’m sorry, you probably see nothing here. Cuz what features here is culture and people’s friendliness, which is quite invisible for those people just like you. I feel even sorry that such words came from a Taiwanese mouth. I cannot help wondering what have you been doing here in these years cuz you felt nothing around a such beautiful island. That is pathetic.
